There were a ton of things to consider when I went on the market for a new coffee maker. Most importantly, I needed a machine that made delicious coffee fast. As I was doing research, my mom suggested I go with a Keurig. I found that the machine brews various Keurig cup sizes to which I wondered what the benefits would be to choosing one size over the other.
Size Does Matter
Keurig brewers feature sizes ranging anywhere from 2-5 cup sizes. For example, the Keurig Platinum K75 K-Cup Coffee Brewer holds 4 oz., 6 oz., 8 oz., 10 oz., and 12 oz. cup sizes. The amount of coffee I drink on a particular occasion matters to me, so having more choices is appealing. I don’t like to waste coffee on one hand, but I also dislike when I don’t make enough to quench my coffee thirst. On those days that I’m looking for just a few sips to give me a little extra pep in my step, the smaller Keurig cup sizes come in handy. Rather than brew a full pot of coffee, I can plug a 4 oz. or 6 oz. k-cup into my Keurig.
How do you change cup size on a K250 model?
The side tank has a fine mesh filter on top of the valve that clogs up, remove tank, add water and push on the valve. If water flows slowly, that is the problem. Put vinegar in the tank and soak it in the vinegar overnight, then rinse thoroughly getting all the debris out..
Test the flow by adding water in the tank and push on the spring valve from underneath the tank and water should flow easily.

I Descaled my 2.9, cleaned the needle, and refilled reservoir. Now it will only brew 4 or 6 cups. I turned it off, unplugged, removed reservoir, and repeated — same issue.
Any suggestions?
The only coffee that tastes decent is from the 4 oz setting, anything else is only brown water.
