There were a ton of things to consider when I went on the market for a new coffee maker. Most importantly, I needed a machine that made delicious coffee fast. As I was doing research, my mom suggested I go with a Keurig. I found that the machine brews various Keurig cup sizes to which I wondered what the benefits would be to choosing one size over the other.
Size Does Matter
Keurig brewers feature sizes ranging anywhere from 2-5 cup sizes. For example, the Keurig Platinum K75 K-Cup Coffee Brewer holds 4 oz., 6 oz., 8 oz., 10 oz., and 12 oz. cup sizes. The amount of coffee I drink on a particular occasion matters to me, so having more choices is appealing. I don’t like to waste coffee on one hand, but I also dislike when I don’t make enough to quench my coffee thirst. On those days that I’m looking for just a few sips to give me a little extra pep in my step, the smaller Keurig cup sizes come in handy. Rather than brew a full pot of coffee, I can plug a 4 oz. or 6 oz. k-cup into my Keurig.
My keurig decided to no longer produce a 12oz pour. Anyone know how to fix this? The setting is on the larger size but it is now only giving 10oz.
I agree! Are there Kcup pods available for a less watered down version for a good 10 ox cup of coffee?
There is a solution to cup size and strength, use 1 K-cup per each 8oz or less. Or use this one you fill with coffee yourself.

I like strong coffee, with the one size fits all k-cup I’m not sure the quality would be the same at the 10-oz size as it is at 8-oz. In fact I’m told by some who have a machine that the strength and quality diminishes considerably when you brew a 10-oz cup, it gets watered down.
This, I think, means you’d have to use 2 k-cups to get the same strength of an 8-oz cup of coffee in 10-oz. Shouldn’t there not be a means to get same coffee throughout the ranges of ounce selection up to 10-oz? The one size is kind of a deal breaker.
